We have come up with a few tips to help you keep your holiday joyful, enjoyable, and bright:
- Make sure your holiday trees are resistant to fires if you are planning to purchase artificial ones. But, if you are considering a live Christmas tree, make it a routine to check whether or not the tree is fresh since fresh trees will more likely stay green longer. If you are setting the tree up inside your homes, place it away from radiators, portable heaters or fireplaces, and out of people’s way.
- Double-check all lights to make sure that all the bulbs work. Turn them off when you leave the houzse or when you go to sleep as leaving them on could start a fire. Replace lights with broken sockets, frayed wires, and loose connections. Don’t overload electrical sockets as well. High-wattage appliances must be plugged into each outlet one at a time.
