Our summer camp consists of 2 four-week sessions during the months of July and August. We offer various enrollment options ranging from 3 days to 5 days, and from 8:30-12:30 (half day); 8:30-3:30 (full day); or 8:30-6:00 (extended day). Enrollment can be on a weekly basis as well as a monthly basis. Our staff includes many of the professional teachers who work with us during the school year as well as special teachers for music, movement, gymnastics, ballet, and yoga. We provide breakfast, a hot lunch and various snacks throughout the day. All of the food and beverages that we serve are Glatt Kosher.
Renanim Summer Camp offers developmentally appropriate activities indoors in our spacious air-conditioned building and outdoors in our fully equipped enclosed playground. Indoor activities include cooking and baking, computer, arts and crafts, music, and story time. Outdoor activities include sand and water play, climbing, and nature walks. Each summer we conduct a Trike-A-Thon to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Other special events include Carnival, Crazy-hat Day, and a visit from a clown, musician, or magician. Every Friday we welcome the Sabbath with Kabbalat Shabbat.
Our theme-based program enables the children to explore a variety of topics. Field trips to various interesting destinations within the metropolitan New York vicinity for the 3 year olds, 4 year olds and 5 year olds enhance our program.
