New beginnings are never easy, especially for toddlers. This is why we are here to provide you some tips and tricks to make the first day of preschool fun and easy for your son/daughter. Try these out:
- Wake up early enough so that you won’t have to rush to school.
- Cook a delicious breakfast and eat with your child. Talk to them about happy topics and the fun day they are about to experience.
- Review the day’s routine. From getting to school to coming home.
- Involve them in packing for the things they will need in class. Spice up the day by packing their favorite meals and treats for recess and lunchtime.
- Allow them to bring one of their favorite toys, blanket, or even some family photos. These will help prevent them from feeling lonely and to make the transition from home-life to school-life easier.
